Annual Wellness Visit

Built#awv

Medicare IPPE + Annual Wellness Visit with the billable G-code DERIVED from the coverage facts — never hand-picked: record Part B effective date + prior IPPE/AWV history → G0402 (Welcome to Medicare, first 12 months) vs G0438 (first AWV, once per lifetime) vs G0439 (subsequent, 12-month spacing), rationale shown verbatim. Work the visit-type-specific element checklist (42 CFR 410.15), the structured HRA, and the written 5–10-year screening schedule (printable for the patient); add-ons ACP 99497 (modifier-33 cost-share waiver), PAN G0136 (was SDoH pre-2026), depression G0444 (subsequent-only — bundled into G0402/G0438); attest (blocked until every element is documented) → draft the Medicare claim → billed closes the visit. awv-service behind awv:read/plan/document/bill.

AWV — Medicare Annual Wellness Visit & IPPE

The billable wellness code is derived from Medicare rules — it can't be hand-picked: G0402 (IPPE "Welcome to Medicare", first 12 months of Part B, once per lifetime, in-person only), G0438 (first AWV, once per lifetime), G0439 (subsequent AWV, 12-month spacing). Record the coverage facts, work the visit-type-specific element checklist (42 CFR 410.15), attest, then bill — exactly one wellness G-code per visit; a billed visit closes. No Part B deductible/coinsurance applies to G0402/G0438/G0439/G0444; ACP 99497 and PAN G0136 are cost-share-waived only with modifier 33 on the AWV claim.

AWV Dashboard — due-status roster (0)

The due status is derived by the service from Part B effective date + prior IPPE/AWV history (a billed G0402 does not count as an AWV — the first AWV anywhere makes every later one G0439). Open “Why this status” under any badge for the full rationale (works by touch and keyboard). Same-anniversary-month claims should be verified via HETS/MAC portal.
